Flexible Dieting

Updated: Dec 7, 2023

Let's talk about "flexible dieting." Flexible dieting gives you the ability to enjoy foods you LOVE in moderation and still make progress toward your goals. It's no longer necessary to cut out all the foods you ENJOY. The key to flexible dieting is to pre-plan the foods you WANT into your day and work the rest of your meals around that option. There are no GOOD or BAD foods!

When it comes to "dieting," I'll be the first to admit there is a huge stigma around the word. Everyone goes through their trials with body image and how to maintain what they deem to be a healthy and happy lifestyle. When you truly grasp the idea behind flexible dieting, you realize you can have your cake and eat it, too, just as long as it has some good, clean food sources to surround it. It's almost liberating to know that I don't have to feel bad about eating one of my favorite cookies for lunch (along with other nutritionally healthy options, of course) because I allowed for the flexibility to eat that cookie when I chose egg whites and lean chicken for breakfast. Everything these days comes down to balance, and with some practice, you can be good at it too!
