Fruity pebble protein recipe

Raise your hand if you love Rice Krispie treats!!!!! This week, we will give you guys a tasty Fruity Pebbles protein rice cereal treat recipe. Why Fruity Pebbles? Who doesn’t love FRUITY PEBBLES?! It’s a personal favorite of mine. I might even sneak a sprinkle or two in my protein shakes. No shame here. Using the 80/20 rule, we always try to eat primarily nutrient-dense food choices that are high in food volume. But, sometimes, we crave something delicious with a hint of protein. That’s where these come into play. They are simple to make, taste amazing, and will leave you feeling satiated after eating one or maybe two:). All of us are looking for a more macro-friendly option, and these treats do the trick. The only thing left to do is start whipping them up! Let us know what you think!

Ingredients

-100g Fruity Pebbles

-50g Protein(MuscleSport Lean Charms)

-100g Mini Marshmallows

-20g Pancake Syrup(Walden Farms)

-45g butter(Country Crock)

-1/2 Tsp Vanilla

PREP TIME 5- MIN

FRIDGE TIME- 10 MIN

DIFFICULTY- Easy

Instructions

Step 1- Spray pan with zero-calorie cooking spray.

Note: The smaller the pan, the thicker your treats will be.

Step 2- In a separate bowl, mix your dry ingredients. Fruity pebbles, protein powder, and a pinch of salt (if you want to cut the sweetness).

Step 3- Put the butter and mini marshmallows in a saucepan until thoroughly melted. Add the vanilla and syrup to the pan.

Step 4- Add your dry ingredients into the saucepan and stir until the protein powder is mixed in. Then, put the mixture into the sprayed pan. Use your hands to make sure that the mixture is flat and even. Sometimes, spraying your fingers with zero-calorie spray will help the mixture not stick to your hands as much.

Step 5- Put the pan into the fridge and let it sit for 10 minutes or as long as you want it to be cooled.

Step 6- Cut up and ENJOY!

*You can adjust this recipe any way that you would like. Try out different cereals or protein powders.
